Some questions you may have...
What is your minimum order?We don’t have minimum orders. Our customers can order 5 cores, a boxful, or 20,000 cores and get the same great service.
How soon can you ship my order?Our lead time to ship standard cores is 4-5 days. Lead time to ship standard samples and rush orders is same day or next day. The lead time for special core sizes, colors, or certain secondary operations is 2-4 weeks.
Do you supply double wall cores?No. We supply plastic single-wall cores only.
What size cores do you have?We supply cores ranging from 1” ID to 8” ID and in any wall thickness. Our standard and most popular sizes are 1”, 1.5”, 1.75”, 2”, 3”, and 6” ID in various wall thicknesses.
Can I get samples to try?Yes and samples are always free.
What plastic resins are your cores made from?We can provide cores made from most plastic resins. Some common resins we offer as standard are Polystyrene, ABS, Polyethylene, PVC and Polypropylene.
Do you make plastic tubing or other parts for other uses?No, we know plastic cores and plastic core applications. We don’t have the staff or production machinery to make any other products. This helps us maintain low overhead and helps us provide better service to core customers with their core applications. We need tubing for an application that is not a core.
Will your cores work for us?Maybe. Some of our largest customers use our plastic cores for non-core applications. We’ll send you samples to try for any application.
Can you notch cores for me?Yes. We can do notching or any operation that makes your cores more useful to you.
What color cores do you supply?White is the most popular color. Red, black, and blue are standard colors for some sizes. We do color matching and can supply any color to your specifications.
What wall thickness of plastic core do you think we need?We can recommend a wall thickness and send you samples to try in your process.
Can we recycle the cores?Yes. The natural uncolored cores are accepted in most plastic recycling operations in the U.S. and foreign countries. You can also send our plastic cores back to us and we will get them to a recycler for you. Colored cores are more difficult to recycle but you can send them back to us.
Will your cores work in our reuse or WIP programs?Some of our customers reuse our cores. We can send samples for you to try.
Are your cores ok to ship overseas?We ship plastic core orders to overseas countries. Our customers ship products containing our cores to overseas countries also. However, you should check with the destination country first if you want to ship products on PVC cores. We need tubing for an application that is not a core. Will your cores work for us?Some of our largest customers use plastic cores for non core applications. We will send samples for you to try for any application.
